Pretzel Maker Pretzels



1 Tablespoon yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water
Mix together.  Let sit until bubbly, frothy.

4 1/2 cups flour
Mix flour in.  Form into pretzels or pretzel bites.

Dip in 1/3 cup baking soda dissolved in 3 cups warm water.
Sprinkle with salt--table salt or salt crystals.

Bake 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.  Baste with butter as soon as they come out of the oven

*I love this recipe! Its so easy and not to mention so good! These are really easy and simple to make and if you really try you can make them look like the twists. I mainly just do the bites because there faster and with siblings waiting its helpful! Thanks Mom for the pic!*
